Beautiful early 20th-century original etching by Swedish artist Axel Österberg (1866–1952).
The artwork is titled “Tjäderspel” and depicts capercaillie birds in a detailed Scandinavian woodland setting. It is signed in pencil by the artist and marked “originaletsning,” meaning original etching in Swedish.
